RVTC Centre Manager KM Lukas officially opened the 2020 academic year on the 07th of February 2020. The event have been a tradition that the Centre Manager (CM) is introduced by the Liaison Officer and then he (CM) introduces the entire staff members. Addressing the fully packed Erick Tjandja Hall, Lukas addressed the issue of alcohol and drug abuse, seriousness of studies and discipline among others. During his address, the Chief in Command of RVTC reminded the trainees that their parents have sacrificed every penny they had in order to pay for the studies of the trainees.
“Think of where you come from, the situation you left at home, tis must not be in vain. You must make you parents proud” added Lukas. The awareness on the economic situation in the country was not kept as a secrete the by the CM. He cautioned trainees to distance themselves from political activities while in the Centre premises. “We all have our various political parties, but we are at a public institution. Let’s refrain ourselves from political activities while inside here but rather do it outside the Centre” Lukas said.
Lukas concluded by encouraging the trainees to study hard and one day take over from the current team in running RVTC.
